Celestial Boundary Dynamics program opens in Fundamental Physics

New theory work examines asymptotic symmetry, radiative memory, and conformal representations of flat-space scattering data.

Wyman Laboratory has opened Celestial Boundary Dynamics, a Fundamental Physics & Cosmology program led by Rina Okafor.

The project studies how radiative scattering observables can be reorganized on the null boundary of asymptotically flat spacetime, with particular attention to asymptotic symmetries, soft behavior, and memory observables.

The work is theoretical. It does not treat boundary representations as additional physical dimensions and does not assign a cosmological interpretation to Wyman field anomalies.
