Wyman Laboratory has received a supplemental award from the Marlowe Foundation for Human Knowledge for comparative epigraphy, materials characterization, and corpus development.
The work supports the Pituffik Inscription Corpus project, a Human Systems and Culture effort examining repeated signs preserved on inscribed material associated with a Pituffik field archive.
The project is led by Maya Ellison with collaborators in linguistics, archaeological science, field systems, and Archive 18B. No linguistic affiliation has been established.
